Dog Working

In just a few weeks, you and your pooch can find yourselves side by side on the job. On June 26th, companies around the world with celebrate Take Your Dog to Work Day, an occasion that’s sure to be something to bark about at your office!

Dedicated to raising awareness about pet adoptions through bringing your pet to work and by asking a local shelter to bring animals, Take Your Dog to Work Day is a great opportunity for you to educate your coworkers on the need for dog adoptions and how they can get involved in helping their furry friends. To organize an event at your workplace, talk to your coworkers and management team to see if there are any allergies or objections to the event. Discuss the benefits and merits that this type of event can offer with your HR department. If all goes well there, it’s time to contact a local shelter or humane society to see what dogs they can bring to your office so that coworkers can adopt.

Finally, get your dog ready to come to work by bringing along a leash, a water dish, some food, and maybe a toy or two. If you’re afraid that your pup may not be able to handle it, may misbehave, or if you lack a place to take him out for potty breaks, it may just be better to leave your pooch at home. Either way, get into the spirit of the occasion and try organizing an event at your workplace later this month!

What a very interesting post. I wish I could bring my pet dog to my office, but since it is hygienic. Pets aren’t that welcomed.
